I’ve had over 30 kittens born in my care, and socialized endless feral cats so they can be adopted.

Whidbey Island This summer my mom and I travelled to Seattle to see Sierra Ferrell and Nick Shoulders perform at the Seattle Zoo. This was such a well organized show and a beautiful venue, so I highly recommend checking out their lineup for next summer. On our way back, we hopped on the ferry to Whidbey island and spent a night camping at Deception Pass. First we explored the seaside town of Langley, WA, indulging in chocolates, latte’s and a delicious marionberry pie. (Which we had never heard of but it was delicious) Once at our campsite at the state park, we explored the beaches, admired all the pretty rocks and took in the infamous Deception Pass. My puppy joined us of course and loved the whole trip!

💎SELENITE💎 There are few crystals that have had as big of a popularity boom at selenite has in the last 10 years. Maybe it is because as the industry grows, so does the need to keep those crystals cleansed and charged; one of the easiest methods by using selenite. I have a little selenite bowl in my room that I keep my bracelets in every night. They are with me all day, providing me with protection, confidence and joy. But I come across a lot of different people in a day and I don’t want to be holding onto their energy. Using selenite ensures that every morning I start the day with a charged up blank slate to support me through out the day. Wearing selenite provides you the same benefits; sloughing off negativity and providing an energy boost. Plus keeping any other crystals on your person cleansed as well. Just make sure you take them off before you hop in the shower as they can be damaged if they get too wet.

The most exciting news here in gypsy land. I have a perfect new bundle of a nephew! Sweet Ari was born last week by my absolute badass of a sister. Welcome to earth pollywog ❤️❤️❤️

Consisting of Clear Quartz, Rhodonite, Amazonite, Moss Agate and Moonstone, the North Dakota Collection was made while on my cross country road trip with my mother last year. We found a campground on Lake Ashtabula, just north of Valley City and couldn’t believe our luck on the beautiful site. Tucked away in the trees and right on the water, I had the perfect environment to create this collection by the campfire. We met some super friendly locals and regulars and had a wonderful night. Unfortunately, the next morning was a different story. Some nasty lake waste washed up right on our little beach and we woke up in a panic to pack up our site as quick as possible to escape the smell. I then got back to my truck to find it was blanketed overnight in thousands of dead mayflies. Weird times at Lake Ashtabula.

🌙 This year our Harvest Moon was extra special because it coincided with a lunar eclipse and was a super moon! 🌖 The Harvest Moon teaches us to look at the past with sentimentality and the future with high hopes. It reminds us to see the beauty in the change and the art of letting things go. 🌕

In my gypsy travels this summer, I finally got to explore the picturesque Bavarian themed town of Leavenworth, Washington. I stopped here on a whim on my way back from The Gorge and wish I could’ve stayed longer! I thought I might be sucked into a mediocre tourist trap but instead was blown away by the businesses and landscape of this town. They somehow even got businesses like Starbucks and Safeway to change their store logo to a different font just to fit in. I didn’t have my puppy with me on this trip but I sure wish I did because there were dogs everywhere and are welcomed by most businesses. Highlights include: - Best burger of my life at @steinleavenworth restaurant - The schnitzel and pretzel and @rheinhausleavenworth - Comfort breakfasts at @louiescafeleavenworth - Beer at @iciclebrewing - Strolling all along the river - Coffee from @littleredsespressoandbakery - Cruising through all the shops - Taste testing cheese at @leavenworthcheesemongers I’ve already made it back once to scarf down another burger and top up my Lemon Olive Oil supply and I can’t wait to go back!

Combined with sustainably resourced wengewood, these delicate designs encapsulates the natural scenery of the area. 🌲

Sometimes the moon knows just what you need 🌖

I’m not sure I have a mood bad enough that couldn’t be fixed with a hike through the forest with my puppy. And yes, I did adopt my foster pup Bodhi! 🐶🐾 He’ll turn 8 months in a couple days and is the perfect gypsy companion. I’ve been away most of the summer but I will hopefully be able to get back to fostering this fall. As long as they can keep up on the hikes 😉

💎 Clear Quartz 💎 Clear quartz may very well be the most commonly used stone in the crystal industry. It’s found all over the world and is inexpensive to obtain. But I think it’s popular because of its amazing qualities. Clear Quartz is known as the master healer, helpful in healing the mind, body and spirit. You can use this stone whenever you need to restore something to its previous glory. I love pairing quartz with other gemstones, as it amplifies the energy of the other stone, as well as your own energy and thoughts. The vibrations of quartz are so steady and strong, they are used in the mechanism of some clocks and watches to keep time!! 🕰️ Or maybe I’m partial because it’s the stone for my zodiac? 🤷‍♀️ Either way, I highly recommend slipping some quartz on your wrist fairly regularly.

Canmore Collection 2.0 Well I wandered off the beaten path and found a spot on the Bow River to spend the day. Or maybe it found me. While initially exploring the area, I slipped and fell in the mud and decided that that was probably a sign that I should stay there. I met a nice couple and their dog right away who let me know that it was a very off-leash friendly area for dogs, so Bodhi was in his happy place all day wading in the shallow clear streams and chasing butterflies while I worked. (Except for the one that landed on my bead box 🦋) Surrounded by the mountains, I didn’t see another soul for the rest of the day until we packed up to leave. Then I met another super friendly local and her two dogs (one of which Bodhi immediately best friended) and I got some good leads on entertainment for the weekend. Despite the sore bum, slight sunburn and about 20 mosquito bites from my walk home, it was a truly magical day in the Rockies.

💙💙Sodalite💙💙 If you need a boost in self-esteem, this is your go-to crystal! Self acceptance comes second nature to Sodalite, and we can learn a lot from simply embracing the essence of this energy. Associated with the throat chakra, sodalite can also be a useful tool for encouraging self expression and speaking one’s truth. Sodalite contains aluminum so it is not recommended to cleanse this stone with water. I highly recommend charging it once a month under the full moon. 🌝

Last week I got a spend a beautiful day creating the Rolley Falls collection with my adorable assistant Bodhi. We had the falls to ourselves all afternoon and finished up our hike with a quick dip in Rolley Lake. This collection has a little bit of everything, including two different size beads. I couldn’t think of a more tranquil, natural environment to work in if I tried 🍃🌸🌈

Ever since the beginning of this business, I have created all of my jewellery in nature. But I will always remember this one occasion back in the early days when I was camping on Brae Island, just outside of Fort Langley, with my travel trailer/home/gypsy wagon. There was a very important Canucks game on, so I set up a TV outside so I could work on a mala while watching the game. It was one of those real nail biter games that eventually led to a shootout. Needless to say I was amped up the whole time. The next day I was showing a Reiki practitioner friend of mine, the new piece that I had made the night before. She immediately told me that the energy on this mala felt anxious and frantic, and she asked what I was doing when I made it. My energy from watching the Canucks game was tied in every knot. This instance has stuck with me over all the years. I am making something is used for its beneficial, energetic properties. So I truly believe that each piece should be created in a calm natural environment to allow the incredible healing vibes of the crystals to shine through. No chaos. No stress. No Canucks games. Just peace.

Depending on the minerals it contains, Carnelian can be anything from a light orange to a dark almost black color. It is known for its properties of attracting success in all areas of life, helping to achieve abundance, and prosperity. It can encourage you to reach your goals with confidence! Carnelian can also provide protection against harmful emotions such as envy, anger, and resentment, whether our own or others’ bad feelings directed at us. Consisting of carnelian, cedarwood, moonstone and selenite, the Indiana collection is one of a kind. Made during a thunderstorm under the protection of a tin roof, this collection is full of wonder and amazement. Growing up in Southern Alberta, watching thunderstorms with my family from our porch is a core part of my childhood. However, fireflies are still quite the novelty! 🌩️ But having the opportunity to be doing what I love surrounded by lightning and lightning bugs is a memory that will stick with me forever. However, once my phone alerted me that there was a tornado headed our way and we were to seek shelter immediately, I promptly put my beads away, to not impart any “fear of my imminent death” energy into the jewels. 🌪️ The tornado destroyed a few houses down the road, but luckily no one was hurt and it didn’t touch our campground, as we had literally nowhere safe to hide.🫣 This is one of my favourite collections because of the incredible environment it was created it. These bracelets truly are Made in Nature.
